Bethany on Beam/Floor Level 5

Bethany won 1st All-Around at the Fond du Lac meet with a combined score of 32.75. She won 2nd place for her beam routine. She was already working hard tonight to fix her errors from this meet. She was pretty excited to finally get a trophy!

Joe, Andy and Gretyl

Joe finally got to play in a real baseball game, something he has wanted to do for quite some time. He is on the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Pee Wee league. He got his first hit on Friday and was able to score from first when his teammate got a hit. He has pretty good wheels. I am helping out as an assistant coach, so I get to have quite a bit of fun too! Andy was manning the camera and managed to get a few shots.

Andy is having a lot of fun with the camera and Photoshop, as can be seen by this photo. It reminded me of Robert Smith, lead singer for The Cure. Thankfully without the lipstick!

Gretyl continues her super dog growth.

Joe and I got to see the Brewers beat the Florida Marlins last week. We were sitting in the first row above the Marlins bullpen. Joe was tossed two "real major league baseballs, something I always wanted". When he got the second one he immediately said, "I am giving this one to Pip".

The School Year is Almost Over

We are in the middle of wrapping up all of the productions. Bethany on down performed in the annual home school program. Stacey, Bethany, Joe and Elsie performed in their last Lakeshore Youth Chorale concert of the year. Andy and Stacey both had parts in the musical "The Mikado". Just one more concert to go, the Sheboygan Area Youth Symphony, then it is on to summer stuff!

Gretyl

We finally got a puppy about a month and a half ago. She is a Bouvier Des Flandres, which means "cow or cattle dog of Flanders". This breed was originally bred for herding, so she nips at your legs more than most puppies do. She has a little white spot right underneath her chin, and a cowlick right on top of her head. We thought she was big when we first got her.

But she's grown quite a bit.

Wow, A New Post!

A lot has changed since our last post. The kids are just as silly as ever, as you can tell from Bethany on the video. Pip is so into numbers that he just watches the timer and lets Bethany know how long it has been. The only problem is that he thinks 60 seconds is an hour!
